Upkept uses AI to generate diagnoses, images and walkthrough reels. This page explains exactly what those outputs are — and what they are not.

Information only, not professional advice
Every diagnosis, checklist, step board, image and walkthrough is a best-effort inference generated from the description and any photos you provide. It may be incomplete or wrong. It is not the on-site judgement of a qualified tradesperson, a formal inspection, an installation service, a safety certification, or an emergency service, and it must not be treated as any of those.
Generated images are references, not guarantees
Before/after visuals and example outputs show roughly how a fix might look. They are illustrative references only and are not a promise of the result you will achieve or a guarantee that a repair will succeed.
Regulated work is out of scope
Upkept does not provide hands-on guidance for gas, fixed-electrical, structural, asbestos, roofing or working-at-height tasks. For those it only tells you to stop and call the relevant qualified professional. Gas work requires a Gas Safe registered engineer; fixed electrical work a qualified electrician; structural and roofing work the appropriate specialist.
You decide and you are responsible
You are responsible for deciding whether a task is within your ability, for following all safety guidance, and for the outcome of any work you carry out. If in doubt, do not proceed — engage a professional.
